scholarship award day

Whoosh! it's been a month and 20 days since i last blogged!! so long ago! the past month have been busy with Alsco, exams, no maid.... finally! Alsco activities are almost over, semester test over, Maid just came and holiday started!!!! can't be any happier! =) hehe

anyway, last saturday, i attended an scholarship award presentation held by Sun-u. it was so boring... the event officially started about 10.30 @.@ We reached at 9! Hence, my friends and i decided walk around college and then to the library to use the computer. the library is so deserted in the morning... there were only 8 person there *including us*... it's such a good environment to study unlike in the afternoon where it is always packed with students and is so freaking noisy.. -,-

i was the no.218 recipient. there are over 700 recipients ranging from full scholarship to Rm 1000 scholarship. i received Tan Sri Dr.Jeffrey Cheah entrance scholarship worth 6000. It is so little because i only got 9 A1's for my Spm... However, my mom got staff discount for me hence for the A-level progamme, my total fee is Rm 7000 +. ^.^ i suddenly just realized that private college are freaking expensive! it's really for reasonably well-to-do families...

Many people think that Sunway University College is for rich and spoilt brats but i beg to differ! i m very happy at sun-u as many students *ppl i know la* there are actually quite down to earth and not those snobbish branded kids... i agree that there are some richer students but i think all colleges are the same...there are sure a proportion of them who are like that. =)
