Genting trip with college friends

Last Monday, i went on a trip to Genting with my new college friends - xian tze, zhi yuen, jia xin, hui ling, li lynn, li kee and siew li. This is actually my first time going to a trip with friends alone. Before this, it was all planning but no action. XD but i really wanna go on a trip with all my secondary school friends. Next year we shall all go Pulau Perhentian after AS exams!!!! who wanna plan? XD

Anyway, we took the genting bus and then the skyway up to genting. i reached there at 8.10 when we were supposed to reach at 8 so i thought i was late only to realise that i was the first one there... hui ling understood the sms from zhi yuen wrongly and tot that we were leaving at 10.30. she was suppose to fetch li lynn and siew li. Li kee obn the other hand was stuck in a jam. in the end, i decided to asked my dad to fetch li lynn cos i dun wanna wait alone. we bout the package deal and was supposed to leave at 9 am. However, Li kee was late n we missed the bus so we had to buy another bus ticket.

The package deal is so much more cheaper than ori price.* that is if u are going for a day trip. Because bus fare up and down - Rm 7, skyway up and down - RM 10, theme park full park entrance ticket - Rm 51. Total is 68 but the package only cost us RM 42. =) Anyone who wants to go up to genting should take this package! We stayed at First World Hotel. i have heard rumours that the hotel rooms are super small, so when i knew that we were staying there, i was like ok, i guess it won't be very comfortable. But it's cheap, so who cares! XD The room only cost us rm 38.80 inclusive of 2 breakfast buffet. we booked 3 rooms - 2 guys share room, 3 girls each a room. At night, li lynn wanted to talk to siew li so she decided to sleep in the other room and i got the bed all for myself! teeheee! =) the bed was ok, it's was actually quite big but the shower room was freaking small! likes like what 4 ft x 4 ft only! -,-

oh i forgotten to mention that we did not take the same bus up to genting, me, li lynn, hui ling, siew li and li kee took the bus from one utama while zhi yuen and xian tze took from KL central. Jia xin took from erm... i dun rmb that place *some malay name*. hehe! Jia xin was the first to reach the skyway, met up with us and then we bought the return bus ticket before taking the skyway up to reach our destination - GENTING! =) it felt so good not needing to wait for the usual long queue to get into the cable car... That's why i love going on holiday during low peak seasons. so relaxing! Genting skyway is super long lo. Jia Xin told me that it's the longest skyway in Asia! not bad eh! MALAYSIA BOLEH! Woohoo! XD

Jia xin really knows her way around Genting; she has been there 8 times recently i think. she was our tour guide throughout our trip.. and she is SUPER DUPER UBER efficient. we even have a planner for this trip. E.g 12.30 to 1.30 is lunch time, 1.30 leave the loby. Haha! She was the one who made this trip happen too! Thank you so much Jia Xin! =)


We ate lunch at Macd's - the most expensive macd i've ever eaten! Rm 13.45 for a medium double cheeseburger set! @.@ n it's not very nice! Siao one la! but everything else is equally expensive la. it rained slightly after lunch and most of the games had to stop. so we ride the *ghost house* i used to be super afraid of them. i asked to sit with someone who is not afraid of ghost and zhi yuen said that he would sit with me. Obviously i would assume that he was not scared of ghost but just when we were about to enter, he told me that he is actually like me. -,- i was like shit! why m i sitting this with u!!!!! so in the end, i kinda covered my eyes the whole way while he kept on asking me to open my eyes to see it.. i peeked a bit through my fingers... nothing much but still wanna avoid seeing anything that may haunt me for a few month... -,- horror things suck! Li kee and Li lynn sat together... Li kee screamed the whole way i think! hahaha!!! could hear her from outside.



we sat on Tobaggon after that... love that ride, it's so fast and *quite* smooth. the only bad thing about it is that u have to sit and enjoy it ALONE. Jia xin screamed! haha! so cute! XD only i heard her because my turn was after hers. Cyclone was next! we separated into 2 cars. the 4 girls - li kee, li lynn, siew li and jia xin who were afraid sat together while hui ling, me, xian tze and Zhi yuen sat together. they went first because we wanted to listen to them scream..and true enough, they screamed really loud. haha!


The next attraction was SPACE SHOT! it's not really scary for me as i have been trained by my dad since young to sit thrilling rides. However, this was the first time for Siew li and li lynn! =D siew li is so cute! She asked me and zhi yuen whether she should try and my immediate ans was yes, just try! On the other hand, zhi yuen gave some *grandmother story* ans XD hehe like if you think u want to try and can handle it, you should try but if not.... *something like that* halfway through his story, i dragged siew li to line up with me. XD HAHA! Anyway, they enjoyed it and wanted to go another round! see! if u don't try, you will never know how it feels like! so no matter what, we should try before shutting our minds. * easier said than done* ;) what an accomplishment for them! when me, xian tze and zhi yuen sat the second time, it was all misty and you cannot see anything! it was so shiock!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously! i actually felt scared for a while there... in the process up, xian tze saw li lynn and the other girls near the cyclone, so i immediately screamed and they FREAKING HEARD ME! like OMG! was i that loud!?!?! Li lynn said: you sounded like you were just behind me! -.-xian tze gave me the *loudest scream award* =,= haha! Anyway, the view from up there was like OMFG PRETTY! when we were up there, all we could see was mist and a lil bit of the genting logo in midair. it looked like heaven! *not like i've seen one before!


it was about time to go indoor to have our dinner but we decided to take some pics! with lets see, all of us, there's no way we can let go of any chance to take pics! after all, we took about 700 PICTURES in just about 30 HOURS! =,= hhaha! and the scenery was like super nice! mist+ nice background + night light+ us happy kids = perfect photo! XD we shift from places to places to take different shots.



we ate at some shanghai 1 restaurant for dinner. the hot and spicy la mian was erm.. quite bad. nothing was nice there i guess as what xian tze says, mountain top food all not good one! but it's still a meal, so no one really bothered complaining. went to sit bumper car and euro express. there were no queue so we sat bumper car twice and euro express 5 times! we became so pro at posing for the photo taking that we can even come up with different pose each time and still make it look good! haha! went for a bit of shopping and then we separate into the shopping group~ li kee, li lynn, siew li and hui ling and the arcade group~ me, jia xin, xian tze and zhi yuen. However, both group did not do what they were supposed to do, the shopping group went back to their room because all the shops were closed while the arcade group went looking for an arcade which does not exist anymore. -,-we walked from first world to hotel theme park to first world to skyway back to first world. Throughout the journey i kept telling them that i wanted to walk outside and enjoy the coldness. On the way back *we gave up in the end*, i found an exit so i said i wanted to have a night walk. Jia Xin and xian tze was too tired to walk so they ditched me and went back to the hotel room. =( but thankfully, zhi yuen agreed to accompany me! =) YAY! we walked quite a distance without realizing.. it was like the best moment! the cool night breeze, ah i m so missing it now! By the time we reached back, it was already 11.30pm.


went back to my room, and saw jia xin sleeping in the weirdest position i've ever seen. she used her jacket to cover her body. should have taken a pic! for a moment there, i was like what is that? XD then had quite a hard time waking her up. about 12.30 am, we met up at xian tze and zhi yuen's room. ate junk food and maggie mee. i had dancing lessons from the musical ppl, quite cool la, can't wait to see them perform! XD we were quite noisy at times that i wonder whether we disturbed the rooms beside. * i m starting to feel bored updating* hehe! XD in the end, we slept about 2.30am.



The next morning, i woke up at 8 and woke the others up. Everyone went on a morning walk before going for the ultimate breakfast buffet! We walked the same route zhi yuen and i walk the previous night. it was so refreshing! morning breeze is so awesome! the cool and fresh air going through ur lungs! AHHHHHHH~! we started off with everyone half asleep except me ;) but halfway through, one by one, they become fully awake. We walked past some garden and decided to do what we do best - taking photos! XD haha! spent almost about 45 mins there! taking pics is really a great past time.. hehe


the buffet breakfast ends at 10.30am and we entered about 9.45 am so we officially only had 45 mins to enjoy our buffet. we rushed to get the food as the queue was long. we separated our jobs well eg, a person sit to book place, another line up to get omelet, another line up to get toast bread etc. =) good teamwork! haha! but the breakfast wasn't all that awesome... after all it's mountain top food hor xian tze? XD


after that, went shopping for present with li lynn and she bought this charm bracelet for her best friend as a bday present. =) i like it! it's cute. did a last min pack up and checked out at 1pm. jia xin was hungry so she went to buy some food, zhi yuen and xian tze dunno went where while the rest of the girls went for a walk in the first world taman bunga. *no bunga one -.-



and that's about it! went home by bus and everyone slept so well esp zhi yuen, he slept the longest! XD haha! i really really enjoyed myself!
